  • 2 pounds Chuck roast or rump roast, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 Medium onion, diced
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons Dried thyme
  • 1.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Water (for cornstarch slurry)
  • 12 oz package Frozen peas or mixed vegetables

  • 2 Uncooked pie crusts (refrigerated)
