How it works

  1. Add recipes

Pick FoodsLiver recipes here, or use Add to grocery list on a recipe page.

  2. Review the merged list

Matching ingredient names share a row; amounts are combined for display.

  3. Check items off while shopping

Tick what you grabbed; remove checked when the trip is done.

  4. Copy or clear

Copy the list to notes/messages, or clear to start fresh.

Why a recipe grocery list helps

Cooking from multiple FoodsLiver recipes often means overlapping onions, spices, oils, and proteins. A merged list cuts double-buying and forgotten staples — especially for weekend meal prep.

This tool keeps your list in the browser (LocalStorage). Add recipes here, or tap Add to grocery list on any recipe page, then open the list to pull them in.

How ingredient merging works

Formula

Group by ingredient name · keep each amount

  • MatchSame item name (case-insensitive) shares one row
  • AmountsShown as “1 cup + 2 tbsp” when recipes differ
  • SourcesEach row notes which recipes contributed
  • Check offTick items as you shop; remove checked when done

Example

Biryani needs 1 cup yogurt and a marinade recipe also needs yogurt → one yogurt row with both amounts listed, so you buy enough without guessing.
