How To Cook Stuffed Chicken Marsala

Pre heat the oven to 400 degree F.

Fill the pocket made by placing cuts on chicken breast with 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Than add 1/4 of the dried tomatoes and 1/4 of the parmesan cheese. Pinch the cut side of the chicken beast and close it with help of toothpick. By closing to opening of chicken breast will not let the fillings of cheese to comes out. Drizzle the chicken with oil. Sprinkle some salt. black pepper and some Italian seasoning over it. Rub it with your fingers so that the sprinkles mixture coats properly.

Place the chicken on baking tray and move it to oven for cooking. Cook it for 3-4 minutes at 400 degree F. After 3-4 minutes turn the side of chicken breasts and than bake again for 3-4 minutes. Check, if the chicken is tender from inside than move it to the plat. If chicken is not cook properly than bake it for 2-3 minutes more. For preparing marsala sauce take cooking pan. In the cooking pan add marsala cooking wine, garlic, mushrooms, salt and pepper, and heavy cream. You can take the same pan use for baking the chicken. Stir the mixture in the pan properly, bring it to boil and coo it for 3-4 minutes. Place the chicken moved in plates into the skillet having sauce.

Place the skillet in the baking oven and cook it for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is soft and tender from inside. Check either the cheese is melted properly or not. Place a spoon of sauce over the chicken and garnish it with parmesan cheese and garlic cloves finely cut into slices.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into proper size pieces.
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 and 12-ouncedried tomatoes drained
  • 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • salt according to your tase
  • Black Pepper according to your taste
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Marsala Sauce

  • 1 and 1/2 cups marsala cooking wine
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt according to taste
  • Black pepper according to taste

Directions

1- Pre heat the oven to 400 degree F.

2- Cut the chicken breast pieces in such a way that there is only single cut on chicken breast. It seems like pocket.

Notes/Tips

  • If the chicken is refrigerated, than make sure to move the chicken out before 15 minutes so that chicken cooks fully from inside.
  • If you want your chicken to more tender and juicy than brine it before marinating it.
  • After placing the cheese slice in the chicken pack the chicken with toothpicks so that it may not move out.
