How To Cook Instant Pot Or Crockpot Beef Pot Pie
For slow cooker:
Take out slow cooker and add onion, garlic, tomato paste, thyme, flour, chicken broth and soy sauce. Whisk together all the ingredients very well until it becomes smooth. Now add beef in it. Marinate the beef with salt and pepper according to taste. Cover the cooker on low flame and cover it for 6-8 hours or until the beef in tender. Add the frozen vegetables in it. Pour the filling into two pie tins. Smoothly top the pie tins with un cook pie crust.
Pinch the edges of crust. Bake it at temperature of 360 degree for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove it from oven and let it sit for 10-25 minutes. Now cut it and serve.
For Instant Pot:

Once the instant pot beep beats let the pressure release for naturally for about 20 minutes. After that move the valve to venting position.

For making cornstarch mixture add 3 tablespoon of cornstarch in 3 tablespoon of water until it becomes smooth and creamy. Stir this mixture into the pot now. Pour the filling into the pie tins. Now top the pie tins with some uncooked crust. Pinch the edges of crust. Bake it for 25 minutes at temperature of 360 degrees. Remove it from oven and let it side for 10-15 minutes. Cut and serve it hot.

- 1 medium onion (Dice the onion properly)
- 3 garlic cloves, mince
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 3 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 cup flour (for slow cooker)
- 1 and 1/2 cups chicken broth
- Salt according to taste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 lbs. chuck roast or rump roast, cut into bite-size pieces
- Black Pepper according to taste
- 1 package of frozen peas
- 3 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 uncooked pie crusts
