How to Cook Honey Chicken Crisper

Preheat the oven at a temperature of 400 degree. Take a large baking and melt the butter properly. Pour the melted butter on the baking tray and with the help of brush spread the butter on sheet to coat the entire surface. Take a separate bowl and whisk together flour, salt and pepper in it. Take two more bowls and place bread crumps in second bowl and eggs in third bowl. Dip the chicken into first bowl having flour in it. Turn the side of chicken to coat it properly. Place the coated chicken layers on the baking tray in single layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake the chicken strips for 8-10 minutes, than flip the strips over and bake for another 8 minutes. When the chicken is baked properly remove it from the oven.

While, the chicken strips are in process prepare the sauce. Take a large sauce pan and add in it all the ingredients mentioned in the list expect corn flour and water. Bring the mixture gently boil, whisking throughout. Whisk together cold water and cornstarch until corn starch is dissolved. When the sauce brings to boil, add cornstarch and water mixture and stir constantly until sauce thickness. Reduce the heat to low range. When chicken strips are prepared fully after baking, dip chicken strips in sauce, tossing them well to coat them properly. Serve warm with with ranch dressing or with any other dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, (slice the chicken into 1/2 inch pieces or in strips form)
  • 1 cup flour1 
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/3 cup cold water

Notes

Chipotle adobo sauce that chipotle peppers are packed in inside the can. These canned chipotle peppers can be found in the Latino section at the market near the canned jalapeños.
